In recent years, research has focused not only on anxiety, stress and depression but now looking at the other end of the spectrum and asking what traits or characteristics do happy, successful and resilient people have. Rather than thinking of happiness as a state of excitement or pleasure it’s better defined as the joy we feel in life as we work towards optimal functioning- to feel fulfilled and thrive. It turns out happiness is a verb – it’s a skill, one that can be learned at any age. Happiness, and having a good sense of well-being are the precursors to having success in your life – whether this be your own personal health and happiness or your success in life with others. Well-being is widely available to every single person, no matter what your past circumstances – once you know what to do to earn it! STRATEGY Vive’s mission is to help bring life and vitality to individuals, teams and organizations. We do this by teaching practical science and strategies for happiness, health and lasting well-being within our work and the workplace. Being happier has positive long-term effects not just on your sense of well-being but also on your job, your academic performance, your relationships, your health and even your lifespan. Vive’s goal is to help each individual have a transformative experience by facilitating their own critical thinking and development of the skills for well-being both personally and professionally. To help people learn the skills to live their best life, both at home and at work. Everyone should have access to this vital information. This program blends the science of happiness and well-being with Karen’s shared stories and experience in over three decades of clinical practice, with Jody's three decades of management experience and . Vision : The word vive means “to live –to bring life on fully.” VIVE aspires to help individuals live their best life and develop their highest potential, both personally and professionally. VIVE engages with individuals, organizations and communities to nurture possibilities and growth. Mission : Inspire and teach individuals how to be happy, healthy and have a good sense of well-being while bringing focus and direction to businesses and organizations. To instill strength-based changes within all individuals as leaders, organizational team synergy and performance and help all participants have a transformative experience of awareness and growth. Strategy : Using experiential and engaging, experiential training strategies we teach groups of people the evidence-based skills and tools they need to flourish as individuals and leaders, and to thrive in well-being within their organization. This success is foundational to all other success whether it is personal, business, financial or academic. Inspire - Teach - Instill - Transform - Celebrate
